That’s right you heard right, a date has been set for the Gold Coast 10 ft SUP Classic so make sure you lock in the following dates 18th to 19th May 2024!!

Get set to twinkle your toes and ride the nose in this dedicated 10ft & Over SUP Surfing event.

Coordinated and brought to you by Gold Coast's only dedicated SUP Surfing Club, SUSinc, led by a passionate Committee and a frothing contingent of members.

Awesome division prizes pledged by local supporters and a major lucky door prize for anyone who gets knocked out of the first round.

This event is not about winners and losers - it's about supporting the sport we love and building a stronger SUP surfing community.

Not just your typical surf comp - it's going to be epic! Here's the schedule:

THURSDAY 16th May 2024

For those coming down to the Gold Coast 10 ft SUP Classic event a day earlier come down to SURFX 1730-1930pm and join Scotty and Jon from SURF FX who will be chatting about different sup boards and go into detail how each board differs so you know how to find the board that is right for you - you dont want to miss this!! This will be a good chance to checkout the latest boards on offer.

Beers and nibbles will be provided.

FRIDAY 17th May 2024

**5.30pm onwards - Drinks & Dinner at the Currumbin Hotel, Traders Way, Currumbin. Family and friends most welcome.

** 6.30pm The Calcutta - buy yourself or someone else. Now this is going to be interesting!! BRING YOUR BUCKS $$$

**Competitor packs will be available to collect at the Pub. Heat draws will be available for viewing.

**Location will be confirmed (options are Burleigh, Kirra or Flat Rock Currumbin at this stage).

SATURDAY 18th May 2024

**7am Competitor briefing

**7.30am First heat in the water.

20min heats, 50% progression format BUT if you get knocked out you are not a loser...... any competitor that gets knocked out in their first round will go into the draw to win a major prize. You will need to be on the beach when the draw takes place on Sunday to be eligible.

**Snacks and drinks avail on beach for gold coin donations. Bring your dollars!

We will be taking registrations for the event from 19th March 2024 through the SUSinc web page - www.standupsurfers.com.au

Entries close 10th May 2024 or once divisions are all booked.

Longest Nose Ride (prize for style Mistress and Master) - who will win the Longest Nose Ride trophy donated by the Legendary Michael Jenkins from the Longboard SUP Revolution!!

For those who are eligible and registering in two divisions the “Longest Nose Ride” is included as part of registration (maximum entries - two divisions).

There are no refunds after registering, however, we maybe able to organise someone to take your place so please let us know if circumstances change and you cannot make it to the event.

There are limited numbers for each division so if a division is not available contact SUSinc directly and we will see if there are options to register you into the event (standupsurfers@gmail.com).
